I love grunge fonts... and to be honest, they are not so hard to make... as long as somebody else created a nice regular font... you just go and distort that font and presto, grunge fonts galore... and yes, I've done that .... but it never felt satisfying.... I wanted a grunge font that was a distortion of my own original font....
This is what FreekTure is. I made my own font... and then I took the time to slowly destroy it.... ah, and the grunge effect here is also based on my own textures.
Each letter was treated separately so there won't be the same effect...
What I also took time was to make sure that despite the font bein' broken and eroded, it is still readable and useful.
Finally, I added a tiny bonus for those who use the "copyright" symbol... there's a tiny image of a girl with a skirt and two braids... It's a dingbat of my daughter, Gal.
If you use it - credit me. Please leave notes here to let me know if you liked it.
nyarrrrrrrrrrr, i wanted to write a crit on this font, but my sub ran out. >_< i liked the rating system. ;A;
anyway, i tried out your font and i REALLY liked how you made each and every letter different, and broken down from your own original font. The effort really shows! It looks absolutely gorgeous, as I'm also a fan of grunge fonts. Kudos to you and your hard work! >w<
